ATTENTION HEAD COACHES!
Starting this year, it is MANDATORY for ALL Pop Warner Head Coaches to be Certified. There are several ways you can get this certification. 1) Attend a coaching clinic sponsored by USA Football. Clinics can be found at: http://www.usafootball.com/. OR 2) Take a online coaches course at ( Online Certification Site) and pass the Certified Coaching Education Program ( minimum requirement). This gives you access to Coaching Course Level 1 and 2. The price for the online course is $9.99, prices for clinics can vary depending on the type of clinic they are hosting. Go to USA Football Pop Warner(http://www.usafootball.com/pop_warner) for more information. No Head Coach will be allowed to take the practice or game field until they get certified.

USA FOOTBALL ON-LINE COURSE NOW AVAILABLE
Beginning with the 2008 season, all Football Head Coaches TACKLE & FLAG must attend a USA Football Coaching Clinic or take the online course.
USA Football's Youth Coaching School, in partnership with NFL teams, is designed to prepare youth football coaches with the ability to teach the game of football and create a positive experience for their players, parents and assistant coaches.
The one-day school offers youth coaches the best techniques to communicate with players, coaches and parents, teach the fundamentals for every position, organize their season with practice planning, establish the best drills for individual, group and team periods and develop a better scheme for offense, defense and special teams.
